Flash mobs have been a rich part of YouTube's recent history, and it feels as though many in the United States are now being exposed to more and more of these seemingly impromptu dance routines by the day. Are we getting flash mob fatigued in 2011?

There are plenty of people in the U.S. who would argue yes. But it seems as though there are quite a few creative minds and organizers overseas who are playing with the form and delivering varied performances that often defy the commonplace conventions we see here so regularly.

In fact, YouTube's most-viewed flash mob of all time was shot in Canada last Christmas season. We've looked at our back catalogue of Trending Videos and pulled together ten unusual flash mobs -- mostly from this year -- that crossed came to us from other countries.
