Every morning, we comb through YouTube's search data to investigate top spiking search terms and the videos they lead to:
  • owen honors, navy video - Captain Owen Honors of the USS Enterprise is under fire today after video surfaced of some racy sketches he produced in 2006 and 2007. The footage is among our most searched today.

  • pete postlethwaite - British actor Pete Postlethwaite has passed away creating a rise in searches for videos featuring him. Here's a 2009 interview he did during a press tour for one of his final films.

  • birds arkansas - The state of Arkansas is recieving a boost in attention this morning following some mysterious bird and fish deaths over the weekend.

  • craigslist killer - There's a spike in interest today in the "Craigslist Killer." Lifetime is debuting their original movie based on the story tonight.

  • zsa zsa gabor - Searches are on the rise this morning for 93-year-old actress Zsa Zsa Gabor, who is undergoing surgery to have part of her leg amputated.
