One of the Most Viewed videos today in the Netherlands has also been very popular in next-door neighbor Belgium, where this clip of a 75-year-old man performing an impressive feat originated. In a video said to have been shot by his grandson, Erik Lambert, a former football player, manages to kick five soccer balls against the crossbar in just 18 seconds. Something professional players had yet to accomplish.

Gravity-Defying, Record-Setting Jumps

It's a big weekend so far for extreme sports video fans with two clips of record setting jumps drawing a lot of attention.

On Saturday, Jed Mildon, a BMX rider from New Zealand, set a made history with a triple backflip he pulled off at a Saturday event. Helmet-cam footage of the jump was the Most Viewed sports video on YouTube the following day and has now been seen over one million times:



Then on Sunday, Tanner Foust, a driver from Team Hot Wheels set the distance jump record for a 4-wheel-drive vehicle ahead of the Indianapolis 500. The jump begins with a 10-story drop:

'People of Walmart' Sees Sudden Rise

You might have seen this clip floating around this week: a "People of Walmart" music video based on the same named website. The song was created by singer-songwriter Jessica Frech and appears to have broad appeal, drawing views from cities across the United States.

Interestingly, the video was heavily shared two weekends ago -- and was subsequently featured on Trends -- but as you can see from the chart below, it's biggest spike in popularity didn't happen until mid-this-week when it got some additional press pick-up:

Big in Canada: Canucks Anthem

On Tuesday night, the Vancouver Canucks earned their ticket to the NHL's Stanley Cup Finals, now one hockey fan is trying to earn the "unofficial anthem" title for his Canucks inspired parody.

Earlier this month, we chronicled how Bruno Mars' video for "Lazy Song" had become one of April's most-viewed videos. Now, Philbert Simon, a YouTube "one-man band" from Canada, has created a version specifically for Canucks fans that's become the Most Shared and Most Viewed video in Canada today, according to our Trends Dashboard.

10 Keenan Cahill Lip Sync 'Duets'

You've likely seen his face here on Trends or in your social media feeds and his lip-synching skills are among the most widely known on YouTube. Last September, then-15-year-old Keenan Cahill posted a dubbed version of Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" that became the Most Shared video of 2010.

Since that clip first became popular, his videos have been viewed one-quarter of a billion times. This month, he's averaged over 3 million views per week. Perry, whose tweet got the ball rolling, even made a video wishing him a happy birthday.

While he started with some simple lip-dubs, Cahill soon caught the attention of major celebrities who started appearing in his videos. It started with 50 Cent. Last week, Britney Spears briefly appeared in one. In January, Cahill's videos were viewed nearly 5 million times in just one day after his collab with DJ/producer David Guetta was posted.

Popular Movie Trailer Marriage Proposals

One of the Most Shared and Top Trending videos of the past week has been this movie theater proposal clip, which features Matt and Ginny's now famous engagement before a screening of Fast Five. It's picked up over 13 million views since it was posted just over a week ago:

What They're Watching: First-Person Disaster Video

The destructive path of the Joplin tornado has been witnessed by thousands miles away. Through pictures and first person videos from the individuals who had to experience the fury first hand, we can see exactly what happened when the record-breaking tornado hit the small town.

The Joplin tornado is the deadliest to hit America since the 1950s, with 117 people reported dead so far. Volunteers and rescue officials are still sorting through the rubble, and with at least 130 people still unaccounted for many fear that the death toll may still rise.

One of the most watched videos on YouTube is "First Person video of Joplin MO tornado 5/22/11" by izelsg. While you can’t see much, you can hear his family’s horror as the tornado rips through their part of town.



Here are some other videos of Mother Nature at her worst, told by the people who survived to tell the tale. Here’s one family’s family vacation. They happened to be in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina.

It's the graduation time of year for many college and graduate school students. And, naturally, we've started to see lots of commencement-related videos popping up on the site. Last week, a video of Austin Whitney, a paralyzed UC Berkeley senior who was able to walk across the stage with the aid of an "exoskeleton," went viral, became one of the week's top trending clips, and drew over 300,000 views from around the world:
